every child
deserves a home base from which to explore the world.
The need for affordable housing is only growing.
Currently in Chatham-Kent:
1 in 6 residents
and 1 in 5 children are living in poverty.
There are close to 1,000 applicants on a wait list for social housing, with a 4.5 year average wait time.
Homelessness has increased by 28.7% since January 2020.
For housing to be considered affordable it must cost less than 30% of a household's gross income before taxes.

We're working to change that.
Our mission is to mobilize volunteers and community partners in building affordable housing and promoting home ownership as a means to breaking the cycle of poverty.

with a lot of help from our friends.
